Uses: Helps prevent sunburn if used as directed with other sun protection measures (see directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Active: Avobenzone 3%...Purpose: Sunscreen, Homosalate 15%...Purpose: Sunscreen, Octisalate 5%...Purpose: Sunscreen, Octocrylene 10%...Purpose: Sunscreen, Oxybenzone 3%...Purpose: Sunscreen. Inactive: Adipic Acid/Diglycol Crosspolymer, Beeswax, BHT, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Diethylhexyl 2.6-Naphthalate, Dimethicone, Fragrance, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Neopentyl Glycol Disostearate, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Ozokerite, Paraffin, Polyethylene.

Directions

Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Ensure complete coverage to the area above the lip, nose, and tops of ears. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other skin protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. After use, twist stick down prior to capping to ensure complete closure. Other Information: Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun. May stain some fabrics.

This stuff is awesome! It goes on clear which is really shocking for a sunscreen. It applies easily because it’s not moist. It applies much better than those zinc based “mineral” ones. Those ones are so dry and leave white all over your face and cake up on you it’s really no better then a lotion based sunscreen. Highly recommend this one.

We keep a readymade bag for when we want to hit the outdoors, or our water sports. One of the most important things that we keep in our bag is sunscreen. And the number 1 sunscreen that we use is the Neutrogena solid stick. It is ideal that we need only to rub it along our face, and body parts that aren’t a great for a spray on method. It’s a little bit like how a deodorant is applied, but this is vital to keep us from burning. Ruining our skin, to the sun, doesn’t do anyone any favors so we are diligent in using sunscreen.

Having a “stick” of sunscreen that is strong enough for our faces, ears, and for other body parts, is vital. Using the Neutrogena face stick sunscreen is excellent, but for different parts of the body that are not ideal for a spray on sunscreen. The first time that I used it, I was super worried that it would run into my eyes. I experienced this before, with another brand, when I was into running marathons. You haven’t felt a more uncomfortable feeling than sunscreen in your eyes, but this didn’t happen with the Neutrogena sunscreen stick. In fact, we swam all day, in my daughter’s pool, with all of us using the Neutrogena stick sunscreen. Nobody felt the burn in our eyes at all. Plus it feels moisturizing to my skin at the same time.

There are different types of Neutrogena sunscreens that are each ideal for certain types of conditions, and we use those for the different areas and conditions. Skin care is incredibly important to us pale skinned folk who burn so easily. I haven’t had a problem with sunburns since finding the array of Neutrogena sunscreen products. It’s important to keep the different methods of application in our go bag so that we are always ready. Since I am unsure if the Neutrogena stick sunscreen will melt or not, we are careful to keep it cool. Plus it feels awesome to apply cool sunscreen on our face.
