    This is perfect for home use. I have dumbbells that go from 5 - 100 lbs and this holds them all. I was worried the 100 lbs would be too much. But, the unit held the 100 lbs and there were no issues on my end. These will be great for deadlifts and farmer's carry exercises in the yard. The unit itself is very solid and I don't have too much to complain about. The only "issue" is screwing the thing closed. It can be a slight pain at times. But, overall, I really like this and would recommend it to anyone.

    I’d been looking for something for my home “gym” to do some deadlifts, but never could find anything that wouldn’t take up a ton of space or require a ton of money. Then I found this and thought “eh, I’ll give it a go”.

    I use it with my bowflex dumbbells, and it easily connects. I found it’s easier to space the dumbbells apart first, on their stands, prior to connecting the bar. Then I can lift up and set right back down into the stands so I can move from one setting to the next or move to only using the dumbbells.

    It feels pretty sturdy and supports the weight of the dumbbells without too much wiggle.

    My only issue is there is slight rotation with the foam grip, but it’s not too bad. Still able to lift and grip well enough for my purposes.

    Overall, I’d buy it again. Doesn’t take up space, works for my bowflex dumbbells, and I’m now able to incorporate more exercises into my home routine when I don’t want to go to the gym.

Keep in mind, since the ends are dumbbells and not normal weights (where the weight would be centered on the bar) any movement or rotation of the bar feels different/strange compared to a normal barbell. This is because these being dumbbells on the ends, the weight extends beyond the center of the bar unequally (as opposed to a regular barbell where the weight is over the bar evenly around the bar because its in a circle). So any natural rotation of the bar creates momentum that you feel in your hands. Didn’t expect that, but makes sense and should be expected. It’ll be something to get use to. You’ll understand what I mean when you start using them. Otherwise, seems to be the next best thing to having an actual ez-bar and now I have more uses for my dumbbells and more exercises to work with.

    Purchased the EZ Curl model, and have been using it for biceps to supplement standard dumbbell exercises. The product is ok, but the clamps do not hold the dumbbell tight enough, so they will slide a bit when doing curls. Not terrible, but still annoying. Also, the foam grips are not centered, so you have to make sure your hands are in the right spot to feel balanced. Overall, the product is way overpriced for a bunch of plastic and C+ functionality. I don’t see this as a long term solution at all. Can’t recommend this at its current price and and general usability. Bummer of a result for $130.

    Grabbed this on sale via Amazon's Prime Day deal. Seemed like a better solution than buying a longer bar and using olympic weights (at least here I can use the dumbbells I already have). It's a solution and will work - but it's not a full replacement if your intention is to do full barbell workouts. I however, only plan to do limited barbell workouts with dumbbells being used primarily. As such, it is a solution that saves space, money, and suffices. Others mentioned the dumbbells slide and move within the clasps, but I do not find that to be the case. I am using amazon basics dumbbells and they are not flat (they are lifted and rounded in the middle). The jaylfex has foam inside the clips and along with the rounding it stops any movement. The problem with the solution is that the dumbbells are awkward. This means the weight is sort of dispersed incorrectly and when you pick up the bar it flops so the dumbbell is north and south (rather than how most of us hold them east and west). As I say, depending on the exercises you do, this may not prove to be an issue - but it should be noted that the bar prefers to be in a certain position. If I bought at full price I'd probably return, but at the Prime Day price I paid, I'll just keep it and use for shoulder shrugs and hip raises.

    I like the fact it’s steal pipe not plastic, but I was hoping it would be a bit wider. So I cut it half and sleeved it in an 1 1/4” pipe, now I can use my click weights (90lbs a side) and use my rack for doing bench press and squats military press.
