This was my first robotic vacuum and I was hesitant on getting one. After just over a year of use, I’m glad that I made the dive and purchased this vacuum. It has changed the way my house is cleaned forever. Now a year later I do have a few comparisons to make as I just picked up another brand of vacuum.
One thing I noticed right away was the Dreame mapping is far superior to their competitors. They are not even close. The vacuum maps quickly and efficiently and adjusts the map as needed while vacuuming. This is very nice as furniture moves around during the year for holidays and parties. Manually modifying the map is also painless compared to my other vacuum.
I have a high pile area rug in my living room and the Dreame robot vacuum handles it perfectly, never getting stuck or hung up on the rugs edge. Their competitors vacuum has to have the “smart” features turned off in order for it to not believe the rug is a barrier. And when it does go over the rug it’s slower than molasses. So definite win for the Dreame.
The dust bag holds a good amount and last my household about 3 months or so before needing to be changed out. The side brush and roller last about the same amount of time. The filter needed to be cleaned about every third week but didn’t need to be replaced for about 3-4month mark. This is all with running the machine daily for my schedule that I setup, doing various rooms on different days..etc.
The only thing that their competitor beat them out on so far was the hair being tangled on the roller. I do have to have to remove the roller weekly to remove tangled up hair. Other than that the Dreame robot is by far my favorite vacuum of the 2 i have. And that’s with this vacuum costing a third of what the other one cost. I would definitely recommend especially for the price.

This is because of the app. The app works great, the no-go zones are a lifesaver for when you have a large house and you have had issues with robot vacuums finding themselves in places where they constantly get stuck. The map generation is pretty spot on. This robot cleans in even lines so it makes a nice clean look on your carpets, and as long as you have it turned to turbo suction, the suction is amazing. You can make this adjustment in the app. You do not want to use the preset suction level as it is not strong enough in my opinion.The battery level is pretty good, it can clean about 1,100 ft² on full turbo suction in one and a quarter charges. This comes out to be about 700 ft² on a full charge. You can view the picture I am posting to see a completed cleaning sequence, and the paths that the robot took. So why am I only giving this three stars? So here's the thing, this is obviously a Chinese knockoff device of the more mainstream robot vacuums. With this, you have pretty poor quality control. The robot does not feel cheap, and it seems well built, But I receive a bumper sensor error on almost every cleaning, but there is no error. I literally have to jiggle the bumper on the machine to test the error. I did a simple Google search of this issue, and I see this is a common issue. This happened with my robot within the first use. I have requested a replacement, but if I get this error once in the first week, the robot is getting returned. If I get this error once and the next 30 days the robot is also getting returned. Typically the majority of Chinese built things will work, but if you catch the unlucky draw, you are just in a bad spot. But what I've noticed about cheap Chinese knockoffs is either they work in the first 30 days or they don't, but if they survive that 30 days you are good to go. So with all of this being said, it is up to you to take the risk of running the gauntlet. Good luck, and hopefully the company fixes their sensor errors.

The design is sleek and should fit well into the aesthetics of most homes. The d10+ took less than 30mins to fast map my entire house. Cleaning of approx. 50m² of empty floor space took an hour, depleting the battery from 100% to about 70+%.
I chose standard vacuum power and the noise generated was noticeable but still acceptable. There is a quiet mode as well as two stronger modes above the standard option. I have yet to try its mopping function but it wasn't the reason why I chose this vacuum anyway.
The setting up of zones and rooms in the mi home app was simple enough. I can set virtual walls and no go zones to prevent the vacuum from going into the kitchen or certain parts of the house. The vacuum did a good job avoiding these areas thereafter.
If you did your homework, you should know that this vacuum does not have small-object avoidance capabilities. While it went over a stray sock lying on the ground with no errors, it picked up a tiny bottle of ointment that was lying on the floor somewhere in its brush which later got stuck and halted the machine. So for family with kids and often have toys lying around the house, it'd be best to get another vacuum instead.
Lastly, while it did a good job in cleaning all the long human hair (my hair is until my mid back, which is pretty long tbh) but I found that there was still a good amount of hair twirled around the barrel of the brush and also some hair stuck in the sweeping brush on the side. Although it did not impede the machine's functionality in any way, however, this was only just after one cycle and I am not sure how well the vacuum will hold up if you don't clean out the hair wrapped around the barrel after more than one cycle.
Overall, I am still extremely pleased with the vacuum and I hope this review helped one way or another!
