- Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2024I loved mlp the original ponies when growing up I think that is great that are doing comic books about mlp and continuing through generations. Every girl deserves a happy childhood with mlp pony but as a fan and because mlp has a special spark in my heart there should be more information and stories about the original ponies. I loved that the rainbow ponies lived on pony land a magical place at the other side of the rainbow a happy valley ( how it should be). The evil one’s who wants to get the ponies for their magic are magically transported to pony land using magic. Pony land supposed to be a safe place to all ponies but adventure happens. Kids from 1980’s and 90’s played or collected them because G1 ponies are the prettiest ponies of all generations. Back to basics. Most fans wants to read adventures of pony land and the ponies not a toy on the shelf of a kid. A dream of a valley 5th generation Netflix tv series or movie story was better learning about the original six rainbow ponies and encourage each generation to make its mark its a very cool message. I think and maybe its the beginning to continue comic books and books from original ponies to the newest generation where do they come from, what are their magical powers or abilities and how they evolved through generations. Less human behaviors and problems and more as magical ponies. And maybe bring spike back to 5th generation and next generation, maybe not original spike but a new dragon character helping ponies.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2023I was so excited for this book I even pre-ordered it. The cover is absolutely adorable and the main reason I bought the book. As it turns out the cute cover has NOTHING to do with the inside of the book. What you get is the ugliest art/comic book type story you've ever seen. I'm still trying to understand who gave the ok to sell such a thing to the public. Needless to say I returned it right away. I wish I had taken pictures to share them with you. I do not recommend this book and I would give it 0 stars if I could.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2023"Friendship is Forever" is a story of pony-loving girls in 1984. They play with their MLP together, and they take care of real ponies together. The writing is very spot on for the target audience of readers in about grades 5 to 8, and it keeps it pretty timeline neutral, so today's younger readers can enjoy it as-is.
"Tales of Dream Valley" has Sunny, Izzy, and Hitch going through a box of Sunny's dad's old books. They find one titled "Tales of Dream Valley", which talks about six ponies, and mentions other types of ponies and creatures. The art here is PERFECT! It is a wonderful version of the G5 ponies, and it does a beautiful rendition of the original six from the 80s, including art that looks and reads like backcards.
"Bonnie" opens with a girl named Bonnie watching the G5 cartoon on the television, the comics on her tablet, information on wiki on the laptop, and talking with her friend on the phone who is also watching the cartoon ... even though she and her friend are fighting. When the power suddenly goes out, Bonnie's aunt pulls out her old ponies, and a story about a fight with a friend in her own childhood.
Overall, this is a solid issue with something for everyone who likes MLP. You can read my full review at SequentialTart
- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2024I was hoping for a simple innocent sweet collection of stories. Turned into a culture war presumptuous storyline about stereotypes that reflect poorly on the small mindedness and limited world view of the authors.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice comic
What I like about this book was that there was more than one story in it but there could have been more crazy events happening in the first story. I also really like how in the end they show how they make the comics and progress. The artwork could be improved too but I definitely recommend this to people that love My Little Pony!

2.0 out of 5 stars Espeluznante
