I want to share how two books completely shifted my life and helped me get back on track when I thought all hope was lost.
Between 2013 and 2016, I was thriving. I was actively involved in transformational courses at Landmark Worldwide, became a leader, and my career was flourishing—I was managing sales for a distribution company across Las Vegas and Southern California. But everything came crashing down in late 2016 when I was involved in a severe car accident at work. The aftermath was brutal: I suffered from post-concussion syndrome, myofascial pain of the masticatory muscles, tension headaches, chronic neck and lower back pain, as well as vision and hearing problems. To make matters worse, I faced retaliation and discrimination at work, lost my high-paying job, and encountered negligence from both my employer and insurance company. Financial strain followed, and I found myself sinking into debt as I struggled to navigate workers' compensation claims, the IRS, Social Security, my wages and medical treatment.

After seven long years, I finally received Social Security disability approval—all without an attorney. Along the way, I battled with the emotional toll of the situation, feeling like my physical and mental health were slipping away.
Then, in 2023, after two surgeries—one in March 2023 and the other in April 2024—something shifted. While I was browsing Instagram one day, I stumbled upon a positivity page, and the words spoke directly to me. I reached out for a referral to psychiatric help, and to my surprise, the person responded, offering coaching instead—not for money, but because they genuinely wanted to help. Over the next two years, Kristen helped me work through both my emotional and physical pain. With her guidance, I began applying the principles from two books I discovered along the way—books that focused on positivity, self-care, and healing.
After my surgeries, I slowly started to heal. My depression, anxiety, insomnia, and post-traumatic stress gradually lifted. I began to find clarity, focus, strength, and self-love, and my physical health also began to improve. Kristen's two books empowered me to reclaim my life after years of discrimination, abuse, and hardship. At 55, I never imagined I would experience such a transformation, but the personal growth I’ve gone through in the past two years is beyond anything I could’ve anticipated. It showed me how I could change my results with authenticity and possibility.

It’s so simple yet it makes you reflect on different aspects of life and then I love the part that says “today’s action” where you have to put what you read into action in some way. You cannot doubt faith when life hands you the tools without you realizing it!
This quite literally fell into my hands as I opened amazon today!!! I don’t know Kristen Butler personally, but she’s been part of my life since 2010 when I decided to welcome positivity into my life. Through “The Power of Positivity” and various publications, millions have been introduced to her motivational and inspirational ways to become and stay positive! This is another magnificent tool, created by her to remind ourselves each and every day the importance of having a positive outlook. Starting with January 1st - each and every day has a dedicated positivity quote (which are Kristen’s specialty), a reflection to open your mind, an action that will keep you positive while spreading it around, and an affirmation that will keep you going as far as you can.
Personally, I am starting another journey that includes a balance of physical and mental health, and I couldn’t ask for a better daily guide to help me. For me - just so happens that Jan 1 is around the corner, but I would have picked this up any other time of year as well, because journeys can start at any time and on any date. I’ve opted for the kindle copy, so I can have it at my fingertips, and a physical copy to be able to make notes so I can always look back and reflect, as I do with my positivity journal. A positive outlook turned my life around, and I’m excited to continue on an upturn with this daily, instant positivity guide.

I've been following Kristen Butler for a while. From her daily posts on Instagram to her written books. I find this book the most useful tool on the daily. It's wonderful to find a quick read to focus you on your day. I'm happy to have discovered something like this.
