Brings situations from real life like family drama, and how they can put stereotypes on us, such as simply comparing with others, self-love and trust, and how sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. I feel some feminist sight too.
    Maybe there are more things to mention but here are some of the most I feel about it.

    Some of the phrases I like:

    “ Turns out you don't have to stick with something if is making you unhappy just because you are already doing it.”

    “Everyones’s definition of Romance was different.”

    “One must not live one’s life through men but must be complete of oneself as a woman of substance.”

    I’m stuck between 3.5 or 3.75 ★. Like overall I’m conflicted on how I feel about this book. I enjoyed it, I was having fun with it but is it really a romance book? I mean up until maybe 50% this book just covers the FMC wanting to remain anonymous about a book she wrote, and then the MMC ends up falling in love with her at the speed of light. Okay, I will say, insta love? Not my favorite, now boy obsessed? I do enjoy but he was not that lol. Anyways, I LOVED William, my king, he was really funny. Charolette (I hope I’m spelling that right) I wanted to strangle her. I just felt like for a book to be called love story, the love story kind of fell flat and was overlooked by everything else that was going on. Also, don’t love that the MMC’s name is JOE.

    I loved the book as a whole. It was a cute feel good read some of the characters though😵‍💫 they let Charlotte get away with WAY TOO MUCH, CJ is a word I’m not allowed to say on the internet but Sophie and Joe are perfection.

    “‘I want to be consumed,’ he said, his words a soft growl as he leaned in. ‘I want the thought of her to set me on fire. I want to surrender to the flames and burn until there is nothing left but my love.’” SAME JOE, SAME

    I think the best part of a romance book is for a while you can immerse yourself in a book and pretend HEA are a grand and magical thing and Lindsey definitely made me get sucked into this story and feel that way.

    It’s no secret that Lindsey Kelk is one of my absolute favourite writers! I have read every book of Lindsey, and every time I say ‘this is her best one yet’.

    Love Story has a bit more spice than Lindsey’s previous book. The steamy chemistry between Sopie and Joe was intense. Sopie’s brother William's one-liners were excellent. There were so many hilarious moments, and I loved all of the fun references used throughout. Trust Lindsey to mention all her favourite romance writers!

    You can never go wrong with @lindseykelk books because she knows exactly what she is doing! She dazzles you with an amazing setting, some fabulous characters, and witty banter.

    It’s a shame it’s always over so quickly, and I have to wait for her next book.

    Lindsay Kelk has ALWAYS been an automatic purchase but this was an awful read. The protagonist carried on a like a 14 year old girl with her first crush, the story line was tired and I could not see one reason why the two main characters were actually attracted to each other. I was going to stop reading on a number of occasions, but powered through on the hope it got better...it didn't!
