I just realized there is a missed opportunity here...
In the OP video, at the end where it shows the scene of Koito growing up, the scolling background is the Edomae period
But isn't it a bit strange that it eventually shows a grown up Koito against an Edomae background?
What if, the background also changed or faded into modern Tsukishima as Koito grew up? Then it will also have a nice continuity as they continued the walk in their modern-day shrine.
You can do it at JK Koito so people can see the Edomae period properly but also the eventual transition into present day.
Cute/Relaxing enough to watch an episode every now and then, while it's no Jahy-sama, Urusei Yatsura, or even Lv1 Maou I ended up liking a lot of the characters towards the end. But this was in part too Japanese-y for my tastes, there were more edutainment bits about Edo era Japan, foodstuffs and herbs/plants than I'd have liked every episode.
