It seems that Baaro Fansubs as well as Unison FanSub and a group called The Moonlighters want to sub Dragon Ball Super. Anyone knows anything about the general sub-quality of those groups and wether there are any other ones who already confirmed subbing this? The show's not simulcasted afaik, so I need to depend heavily on the group's quality.
Edit: AnimeRG just released episode 1 with English subs.

Lol dat first episode. Nothing happened, really. Just a little recap, some easy going scenes. Felt pretty much like those fishing episodes back in DBZ. The difference is that instead of fishing it was more of a farming + present episode. Nothing major. But, seems like things are going to start next episode with some training scenes, Beerus fighting, etc.
DBZ is my all time favorite anime I was w8ing to watch this like crazy! now that I finally watch the first episode it didn't have anything serious it seems that it built things up for the upcoming fights but I was glad I watch Goku & friends again just that was enough to bring a smile to my face I want to point that I was not satisfied at all 1st with the OP songs that was below average imo I was expecting something much better & stronger (with more impact) that this because that's Dragon Ball we are talking about the most popular anime on the planet the one who choose this must be fired imo & also I wasn't at all satisfied with animation quality which was extremely cheap & kind of bad at times truly disappointing on this part I hope this is going to change & the studio responsible for this start put more effort in the future episodes, last something I also didn't like but nothing can be done about it was the new Seiyuu who do Satan's voice the original Seiyuu in case some of you don't know die (suicide..) so nothing can be done about it still I'll miss his voice it doesn't feel the same without him
Ah, another instance of Goku being an amazing father, making his 7 year old son do his job for him, and openly tells him how much he wants to abandon him again.
Also, I love that book title, it really made me laugh out loud when I realized what it meant

So, where is this set then? After Battle of Gods? Or Resurrection of F?
I just watched the first episode and its set right after the defeat of buu. Before Battle of Gods.
It seems like they will first cover the story of Battle of Gods and I would even guess next is resurection of F. Weird why they even bothered making the movies when they are doing the same thing in a filler-ish way anyways first.
Overall first episode was meh but I will give it a benefit of a doubt because it just might start slowly.
edit: oh, i need an explanation about a part that i've missed (actually have forgotten). in dbz pan was born. but in kami to kami, she wasn't even born and in chou gohan and videl newly married. so, how messed up timeline is this?

Also it seems uub or at least uubs training isnt in super. It seems they really went from the death of buu to a new timeline were no videl exists yet and even uub seems to be missing for now.

Okay, I've got it now.
Basically this is how it goes.
1) Beerus wakes up.
2) Dragon Ball Super
3) [6 months later] Beerus decides to travel to Kaio's planet then Earth, i.e. Battle of Gods.
It is weird since we see Goku on Kaio's planet before and after Beerus leaves his home. But I guess, this is how they're retconning it.

seems logical. but, real question is...

...why did they show uub and pan at the final episodes of kai?
There is a timeskip before Uub and Pan show up. Super takes place before Goku meets Uub and before Pan is born.
Also, to revise the timeline:
1) Kid Buu is defeated.
2) [between 0-6 months later] Beerus wakes up
3) Beginning of Dragon Ball Super
4) [6 months later] Battle of Gods
5) Dragon Ball Super continues (as in, it may go beyond Battle of Gods)
6) Resurrection of F
7) Dragon Ball Super continues (seems unlikely as of now, but it may even go past Resurrection of F)
8) [Between 4-10 years later] Goku meets Uub and decides to train him
With regards to the dates and time-skips, it's all messed up. Because Pan is apparently born 4-5 years after Kid Buu is defeated. Yet Battle of Gods takes place 6 months after Kid Buu is defeated, and Videl is already pregnant.
Basically, Toriyama and Toei have been retconning stuff to bring in this new saga. Uub is 10 years old during the tournemant that he meets Goku. But Pan is only 4 years old. And we know Uub is reincarnated from Kid Buu. So yeah, the dates don't make sense.
Massive Edit:
Okay, upon further research, it appears I was completely wrong regarding the 6 months timeskip. Here is the revised timeline:
1) Kid Buu is defeated.
2) [Between 0-6 months later] Beerus wakes up
3) [6 months later] Beginning of Dragon Ball Super
4) [4 years later] Battle of Gods
5) Dragon Ball Super continues (Confirmed by Toriyama to cover Battle of Gods then go beyond it)
6) [5 years later] Resurrection of F
7) Dragon Ball Super continues (Confirmed by Toriyama to cover Resurrection of F then go beyond it)
8) [10 years later] Goku meets Uub and decides to train him
Basically, now the dates make sense. The retconning is simply regarding Beerus' awakening. The Battle of Gods film showed Beerus searching for the Super Saiyan God as soon as he woke up. But Dragon Ball Super appears to show him going around the universe doing his stuff before looking for the Super Saiyan God.
The biggest problem is Goten and Trunks. They are supposed to be 4 years older yet they look exactly the same as from the Majin Buu arc.

That's not really a problem. My younger brother in 4 years didn't change much. There's a boom around 11/13 though.
We are used to timeskips of 2 years in anime and characters passing from 12 to 14 and suddenly they're as big as adults. I can't find the meme about it, though, but I do remember of, for example, Stiyl having 14 years old and Komoe having 40. Or Simon and Youko having both 14 years. Anime is retarded in that sense and I don't care (I can even guess why they didn't change much, it's to keep that nostalgic factor, and if that timeline of yours is correct, you can see they look the same in Battle of Gods).
However, they are supposed to be (Trunks) 13 years old when Pan is born, and we know Trunks is 1 year older than Goten. They don't particularly look like 12/13 year olders but that's not really a problem to me either. I'm just curious to see the changes in everyone after (if there will be) a timeskip.
What I want to know is how they're going to show Goku fighting around without him transforming to Super Saiyan God if they don't do the timeskip (because we saw him transforming in the OP).
Well, the way it's going to go, is that this current arc in Super is the Post-Majin Buu arc. After it's over, they will head straight to Battle of Gods arc. I guess post-Majin Buu arc is simply to reintroduce the cast after 18 years. Probably won't be too long.
Possibly, yes. Maybe we'll also get some screentime of Beer and Whiskey going around doing things. I reckon he'll be a good guy, maybe, against the other universes. Maybe Champ is a brother/cousin of Beerus. Dunno.

The difference between an adult and a teenager in anime is the size of the eyes
