Five New Adorable Animal Crossing Villager Plushies Are Coming Soon (Officially Licensed)

Another new collection of officially licensed Animal Crossing: New Horizons plushies are coming soon later this year, featuring some of the game’s newest characters, as well as old returning series classics!

Although some questionable quality knock-offs of these characters have been available on sites like Amazon, today’s announcement represents a higher quality set from respected Japanese manufacturer Sanei. This same company has previously released many of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Animal Crossing: New Leaf plushies you’ve seen before, including a new series last year in 2021.

The latest ALL STAR Collection releasing in 2022 features five different Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers including Dom, Judy, Audie, Marshal, and Molly. You can find close-up photos of each throughout this article.

Most notable from this new upcoming set for most fans will be the release of three brand new characters introduced with Animal Crossing: New Horizons that have never received officially licensed plushies before. These villagers are of course Dom the Sheep, Judy the Cub, and Audie the Wolf.

On the flip side, we’re also happy to see Marshal the Squirrel introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, who was one of the most popular villagers in that era. Molly the Duck is making an appearance from Animal Crossing: New Leaf as well.

The manufacturer of these Animal Crossing plushies, Sanei, has also released official dimensions for each character if you’re curious:

• Dom: W13.5 x D12.5 x H17 cm
• Judy: W12 x D11 x H16.5 cm
• Audie: W12 x D16.5 x H21 cm
• Marshal: W11.5 × D14 × H15 cm
• Molly: W12 x D13.5 x H15 cm

Notably missing however are any of the 16 new villagers introduced in the Version 2.0 Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons released last November, like beloved Sasha the Rabbit and Ione the Squirrel. We’ve wondered whether any of these new friends would ever make their way into plushie form, but that doesn’t appear to be the case yet.

All five characters from the 2022 All-Star Collection for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be released during Early November in Japan. No official overseas release has been announced yet, though we suspect a distributor in North America may pick them up as this has occurred with past Animal Crossing plushies. (look out for Little Buddy!)

If not, we’re certain that the 2022 All-Star Collection will be easily accessible through import at Amazon Japan and Play-Asia soon if you’re interested. This article will be updated with pre-order links when they are made available!

In terms of pricing, all five characters have been announced at a price point of 2,530 yen including tax. Currently at time of publishing, that’s only about $19 USD, but note that the Japanese yen is abnormally low right now.
