First edition: 2 volumes vol. 1 xxiv, 382 pages, vol. 2 ix, 434 pages, frontispiece portraits in both volumes, 9 black and white plates, 3 maps – 1 folded, 2 plans, uncut for-edge and bottom edges, top edge gilt, with red cloth boards – which are scuffed - with Sir Harry’s coat of arms in gilt on the upper covers, titled gilt on the spine, a good set.
