The App Works
The SDCCU App works, except late at night to early morning, I think it's when they do maintenance. My biggest bed with SDCCU is they don't have a branch in town and now they removed the ATM too! Need to drive 15 miles to nearest branch.
Meh
The app works like you’d expect, but the load times are incredibly slow compared to other banking apps. Mobile deposits are a bit of a coin toss, but the funds do show up in your account instantly when it works. I’ve been banking with them since about 2012 and this app has always been a point of frustration for me. Great credit union to bank with, not so great with their app development. You’re better off just using a web browser and going to their site.
Outdated and irritating
I think if cavemen and dinosaurs had bank accounts this is the app they would use. Also, why have I had a secured credit card and a 700+ credit score for 3 years and am still getting denied for the base tier credit card for this place? Good luck trying to get the app to connect to anything modern using plaid, like sports betting apps or similar. It basically throws dirt from thousands of years ago in your eye and tells you to kick rocks. (Prehistoric rocks of course)
