Update: Was working, now error + I’m already a subscriber

The app works on non-JavaScript sites. And works well. The developer says they are working on fixing the issue with sites like Pocket (if they do, I’ll add a star). Still no answer as to why it’s not registering me as a user. I have an account for the Spritz app on my computer but the phone app keeps telling me I’m not a subscriber and I’m beyond my trial period. If they fix that, I’ll up it to five stars!

I have been loving this app on my computer and was a beta tester for iPhone app. Today the iPhone app was working and now it says repeatedly “you must install java script to run this app”. On my phone. Argh. I’ve turned phone on and off and I’ve tried to get support but link from App Store is bad. Also I AM a subscriber on my computer. Keeps asking me to subscribe on phone even though I logged in on my app using computer credentials. Do o have to pay twice to use on two devices?? I will change rating when I get help.

Hello. No one else has reported this problem. Please email [email protected] and we can help you.

Pointless to use

Spritzing text is great but the app is to troublesome to use. Specifically... (because I like this idea and I want this fixed so I can use it), it’s difficult to highlight a lot of text. If the text is off the screen it won’t scroll down to highlight it. It stops highlighting at the, “subscribe for $1” ribbon and doesn’t scroll down so doing it manually, in sections, takes longer than just reading it normally. Thus, this app is pointless. Using an iPhone 12 Mini, software version 14.2.1.

Awesome. Get rid of the red letter.

This app is pretty awesome, given the limited access that it has to content. I read a lot on web pages so it’s perfect for me. Not having a Select All option which you can then narrow from either top or bottom is kinda a pain, but w/e, not too bad to deal with. I don’t know why the words are at the very bottom. It’s a little bit annoying because there’s a bunch of empty space above that’s distracting, but that’s also ok I guess.
Given everything I’ve said, I would give this app a five star if it weren’t for the red letter in the words. It’s torture. It’s super painful when you’re speed reading. I’ve tried other tools without red letters and they’re infinitely better. The red lettering has to go. It has to go. Even with the lack of Select All text option and the disorienting placement of the words, I’d rate it 5 stars. The red letter in each words makes this app 100% deserve a 1 star rating.
