1943: U-163 is successfully attacked and sunk in the southern part of the Bay of Biscay by HMCS PRESCOTT. Note: This information was not established until the late 1980s when Canadian corvette and German U-boat records were restudied.
1944: In the eastern North Atlantic, HMCS PRINCE RUPERT and USS Hobson and USS Haverfield band together with aircraft from the escort carrier USS Bogue and RAF 172 and 206 squadrons to sink U-575.
1978: Death of Brigadier The Honourable Milton F Gregg, VC, MC, CD (The RCR)
