Hello.
I recently received the results of my soil test conducted on my lawn from the UM Soil Testing Lab; this is my first time doing this and am trying to understand the right fertilizer to put down based on those results. I've been reviewing the content on your website in great detail but am still struggling to make the right selection of fertilizers available and would love some additional guidance. To summarize, I had two samples run, one for my backyard and one for my front yard. Although similar there were some differences:
Front yard recommended ratio: 3-0-2
Back yard recommended ratio: 6-1-4
PH 7.5
Soil - Course
Yard Sq Ft: Approx. 8,000 sq/ft
In looking at fertilizers, I'm not able to find a match so looking for the best fit I found is a Pennington product with a 22-0-11 mix in a 50 pound back with a recommended application of 4 pound/1000 sq ft. Based on the limited data I provided, is this a product that would work well or am I'm reading the report incorrectly and should be looking for something with a different mix ratio? Any additional assistance/guidance/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.
