Kern County Fair prepares for drive thru Fair Food event, menu released

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Fair announced the dates and menu for their drive-thru fair food event.

The drive-thru experience will take place on Sept. 25 through Sept. 27 & Oct. 02 through Oct. 04, 2020, from 11:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.

The event will take place in the P Street Parking Lot.

Event organizers said:

• Please stay in your car, no walk up ordering will be allowed
• There will be no restrooms or tables available, all food is to-go only
• All staff will be required to wear face masks at all times
• Please wear a mask when ordering and accepting your food.

The Kern County Fair Board made the decision to cancel the fair in July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
