Kern County Fair to host job fair August 27

The Kern County Fair will host a job fair for those interested in working at this year's fair.

The job fair is set for August 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kern County Fair building 1 on the south side of the main gate, across from P Street.

Positions available include parking/admission ticket sellers, security, janitorial staff, maintenance, event staff, and customer service representatives.

Serious applicants are asked to fill out an application and make copies prior to attending the job fair. Applicants are asked to bring a photo ID and a social security card.

The fairgrounds are located atlocated at1142 S P Street.

The Kern County Fair runs from Sept. 21 to Oct. 2, 2022.
