Biography
Huizenga earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Montana State University. His government service includes working as the acting assistant secretary for the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management and the principal assistant deputy administrator for the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation. As of January 2021, he was the NNSA's associate principal deputy administrator.[2]
