An effort in Mitchell, South Dakota, to recall Mayor Jerry Toomey from his position was initiated in March 2017. Recall organizer Brad Bowling initiated a recall signature drive on March 4, 2017.[1] Bowling did not submit signatures for the recall effort within the 60-day window allowed by law.[2]
