Kristy Nieto
Kristy Nieto is a member of the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. She assumed office on February 2, 2024. Her current term ends on March 1, 2025.
Gov. Tony Evers (D) appointed Nieto to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission on January 16, 2024, to replace Ellen Nowak.
Biography
Nieto earned a bachelor’s degree from Hamline University and a master’s degree from University of Wisconsin–Madison. [1]
Prior to being appointed to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, she served as an administrator with the Commission for more than a decade. She previously served as Administrator of the Division of Energy Regulation and Analysis, Administrator of the Division of Digital Access, Consumer and Environmental Affairs, Deputy Administrator of the Commission’s business operations division, and Director of the Consumer Affairs Bureau. [2]

Nieto was appointed to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission by Governor Tony Evers (D) on January 16, 2024.[3] Nieto took office on February 2, 2024. [4]
