Adame listed the following issues on his campaign website:[3]
- The Marshall Plan: "Whether as a U.S. Marine, a Diplomat, a member of a U.S. Congressional Commission, or a private citizen, Marshall has always stood for common sense and what’s right for the country we all love. Marshall will strive to bring common sense values and honest, workable solutions to our nation’s capital. Marshall will work to bring people together from all political parties to forge a workable path for America's future. Marshall's agenda is to draw support from members of all political parties and schools of thought to reach workable common sense solutions for a better tomorrow."
- Standing up for Seniors: " He will work vigorously to protect the long-term solvency of Social Security from those who want to raid the program, or privatize it for political gain and will fight hard against reducing contributions and caps to Social Security. Marshall believes that we must keep our promises to seniors."
- Standing up for Women and Children: "Marshall supports the Violence Against Women Act, which provides funding to help prevent domestic abuse. Marshall believes that standing with and defending people when they are vulnerable is one of the core values of this country...Marshall does not believe that it is governments role to dictate the outcome any medical decision between a woman and her doctor. The very notion that a woman may be paid less than a man for doing the same job is absurd and may even violate the U.S. Constitution."
- Standing up for Veterans and Service Members: "Marshall will work tirelessly to ensure our nation keeps its promise to our veterans. As a veteran and with two sons who are Iraq/Afghanistan combat veterans, Marshall knows the sacrifice our young service men and women go through, especially when they return home. That is why Marshall supports the “I Hire Veterans” project that provides tax incentives for hiring veterans. Marshall supports a bill that gives the brave men and women who are serving this country a well-deserved pay raise so their families will not be on government subsidies. Marshall believes we need to cut fat out of our defense budgets, not muscle, and Marshall will work to reduce our reliance on expensive service contractors and invest those resources in our own military."
- Standing up for the Next Generation: "Marshall will work hard to get this country’s fiscal house in order while not sacrificing our country's future to do it. He believes we must protect institutions like our Public Schools, Public School Teachers, Social Security, Veterans Assistance, Medicare and Food Stamps while making sure that we don’t put the next generation into greater debt."
- Standing up for Jobs: "Marshall will not support any trade deals that will send jobs overseas, or give tax rewards for companies who move their production out of our country. Marshall will push to get Americans back to work rebuilding this country, especially critical infrastructure like roads, bridges and schools."
- Voter ID: "Marshall will fight to re-establish the Voting Rights assurances and guarantees in the Voting Rights Act that were set aside by the US Supreme Court in 2012. Marshall believes that America cannot support any action that disenfranchises voters, or creates roadblocks to voting by any segment of our society."
