Detroit Public Schools Community District, Michigan, Proposal S, Tax Measure (2024):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported restoring and increasing the limitation on the amount of taxes that can be levied by the school district for general operating purposes by 6.00 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempt by law, raising an estimated $9.58 million for the first year that it is levied.

A "no" vote opposed restoring and increasing the limitation on the amount of taxes that can be levied by the school district for general operating purposes by 6.00 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempt by law, raising an estimated $9.58 million for the first year that it is levied.

Wayne County, Michigan, Property Tax Renewal for Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) Measure (November 2022):  ✔

Wayne County, Michigan, Proposition J, Millage Renewal Measure (August 2022):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported renewing the tax, at a rate of $0.94 per $1,000 of assessed property value, authorized in 2012 for 10 more years to fund jail facilities, juvenile incarceration or detention facilities, and alternative adult penalty options.

A "no" vote opposed renewing the tax authorized in 2012 for 10 more years to fund jail facilities, juvenile incarceration or detention facilities, and adult penalty options, thereby allowing it to expire in 2022.

A "yes" vote supported creating a city reparations committee tasked with making recommendations for housing and economic development programs for Black Detroit residents. 

A "no" vote opposed creating a city reparations committee tasked with making recommendations for housing and economic development programs for Black Detroit residents.

Detroit, Michigan, Proposal S, Allow Ballot Initiatives to Appropriate City Funds Amendment (November 2021):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported amending the city charter to remove language that prohibits an initiative from passing "any ordinance for the appropriation of money," thereby allowing citizen initiatives to propose ordinances that appropriate city funds.

A "no" vote opposed amending the city charter to remove language that prohibits an initiative from passing "any ordinance for the appropriation of money," thereby maintaining the prohibition on ballot initiatives that appropriate city funds.

A "yes" vote supported the adoption of a revised city charter for Detroit that makes changes to policy regarding broadband access, police practices, healthcare, taxes and utilities, and reparations, among other topics.

A "yes" vote supports authorizing the county to renew for 10 years a property tax levy of $95.29 per $100,000 in assessed property tax value to generate an annual estimated $42 million for the county's operations and services.

A "no" vote opposes authorizing the county to renew for 10 years a property tax levy of $95.29 per $100,000 in assessed property tax value, thereby allowing the tax to expire.

Wayne County, Michigan, Proposition P, Parks Property Tax Renewal (August 2020):  ✔

A "yes" vote supports authorizing the county to renew for four years a property tax levy of $24.59 per $100,000 in assessed property tax value to generate an annual estimated $10.9 million for parks.

A "no" vote opposes authorizing the county to renew for four years a property tax levy of $24.59 per $100,000 in assessed property tax value for parks.
