General Medical Consultations

General Medical consultations include consultations of pediatric, adult, geriatric and pregnant clients. The service is free and is available daily, from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.

Medical Certificate

Medical Certificate is issued to individuals needing this document for purposes of employment, sick leave, school requirement and other purposes. Medical certificates are issued to affirm the validity of the consultations done.

Steps

  1. Proceed to the MHO- Outpatient section and request for a Medical Certificate
    1. Proceed to MHO for the evaluation.
  2. Proceed to OPD clerk
  3. Pay the required fee at the Treasury Office; secure Official Receipt
  4. Return to the MHO for the processing and release of certificate

Laboratory Services

The Laboratory services include hematology, clinical chemistries, serology immunology and clinical microscopy sections. The diagnostic laboratory is equipped with devices, instruments and chemical reagents for performing tests that would help in the management and treatment of an illness.

Steps

Mother and Child Health Care Services

The Mother and Child Health Care services include prenatal care and immunizations. The Mother health care is provided to all pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. The Child health care is provided to all newborns up to 12 months.

Family Planning (FP) Services

The Family Planning Services addresses the need to help couples and individuals achieve their desired family size within the context of responsible parenthood and improve their reproductive health to attain sustainable development. The Family Planning program provide universal access to family planning information and services whenever and wherever these are needed.

Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) and Breast Examination

The Visual Inspection with Acetic (VIA) is a simple inexpensive test with moderate sensitivity and specificity for early cervical lesions. This procedure is a primary screening test for early detection of cervical cancer.

Immunization of Senior Citizens

The immunization of senior citizens includes the flu and pneumo vaccines. The flu vaccine is administered annually while the pneumo vaccine is given every 5 years.

Health Certificate

The Health Certificate is issued to all owners of business establishments, food and non- food handlers engaged in business. This certificate shall be issued only after the required physical and medical examinations are performed and immunizations are administered at prescribed intervals.

Drinking Water Site Clearance

The Drinking Water Site Clearance is issued to persons or entities intending to develop drinking water supply system. This includes the conduct of sanitary survey to evaluate the site location, type of water supply source and type of water use.

Certificate of Potability of Drinking Water

The Certificate is issued to certify that the water used in the process is safe to consume. This certificate shall be issued only after the required examinations are performed and the quality of water from the system meets the requirements of the Philippine National Standard for Drinking Water.

Sanitary Clearance (General)

The Sanitary Clearance is issued to all business establishments and buildings and accessories and houses for rent, in order to determine their adequacy of ventilation, general sanitary conditions and propriety of habituation.

Sanitary Clearance for the Establishment of Family Cemetery

The Sanitary Clearance is issued to all individuals who plans to establish a family cemetery to make sure they observe the standard of the Sanitation Code of the Philippines.
