Thai Airways shows off their latest business class seat on the Star Alliance schemed A350

Thai Airways Star alliance A350

Thai Airways International (PLC) has shown off its Business class seat onboard one of its latest Airbus A350-900 registered HS-THQ. This aircraft is painted in the Star Alliance scheme. Previously Thai Airways had the Star Alliance scheme on the Airbus A300-600R registered HS-TAO, Airbus A330-300 registered HS-TEL, HS-TBD and on the Boeing 747-400 HS-TGW which has been recently dismantled at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The Business class seats layout on this type is the 2-2-2 configuration which may also be the case with HS-THR. We are not certain if this will feature the retro speed-line scheme or not. Not the same 1-2-1 as the other types in service. HS-THB-THN features the original staggered layout of the 1-2-1 seating. HS-THO and THP features the 1-2-1 reverse herringbone seating. Another set to arrive soon is HS-THV which is now located in Abu Dhabi being leased from Aercap. Previously served with Hong Kong Airlines and Azul from Brazil.
