This is not your ordinary gym. This is THE place to be for serious lifters ready to push themselves beyond the limits and get intense about what they can accomplish. Our members work hard and have a great time doing it. They are motivated, driven, and see results. They have to go home sometimes, but they wish they didn’t!

Meet our Staff
Connor Flach
Hello all I’m Connor – one of the owners of Barbell Brothers gym. I grew up in the Newark, Delaware area. Eventually moving near Middletown after graduating from the University of Delaware. My brother and I are chefs, but ultimately decided to take our fitness hobby one step further. Opening up the gym for serious lifters like us who want to be able to throw chalk around, lift some heavy weight, and get to know the people of M.O.T. better.
Andrew Flach
Hey everyone I’m Andrew – also an owner of Barbell Brothers gym. I grew up in the Newark, Delaware area. I have worked in restaurants most of my life starting at 15. As much as I love cooking, the gym has always been my outlet. My brother and I have gone to chain gym after chain gym, and nothing will compare to our place. We want our members to get stronger and feel good about doing it.

Andrew Flach
I am an owner of Barbell Brothers gym! My goal is to help clients increase strength and muscle size. I am well seasoned in powerlifting (especially squat, bench, and deadlift) and can take your lifts to the next level.

Connor Flach

Steven Vieira
I am the lead performance coach at Barbell Brothers! I have over a decade of professional experience as a sports coach, mental health counselor, substance abuse counselor, and law enforcement officer in the State of Delaware. As a law enforcement officer I have had the honor of being members of multiple special units such as; FTO (Field Training Officer), Defensive Tactics Instructor, and SORT (Special Operations Response Team). I am passionate about empowering people to change their lives. I want to make a difference in my community and help people overcome adversity to reach their full capabilities!

Conor Passler
As a professional, I differentiate evidence-based practice from fitness fads and myths. Practices that are not evidence-based rely more on tradition, intuition, and other unproven methods that can’t be effectively quantified through the scientific process. Here at Barbell Brothers, I will physically demonstrate exactly how one acquires and maintains an optimal level of health and fitness.

Taylor Yoder
I have an extensive background in running and endurance training. I ran track and field for over 10 years and had a decorated college career. Once I graduated college in 2022 I found a new passion for weight lifting, mobility training, and overall health. I want to share my passion with every client I work with and help them achieve whatever their goals are. Regardless of what level of fitness you are, as your personal trainer I will continue to push you to be the best version of yourself, whether it is losing weight, gaining weight or muscle, or just wanting to be a more fit version of yourself, i’ve got you covered. We will work on all your goals together. Having faith in your ability is my motto. And I have faith in your ability too.

Jay Biek
I decided to learn more about fitness and bodybuilding and finally work to truly better myself. After just a few months of implementing diet and intentional training practices, I got the physique I wanted. Then, I decided to further my investments in myself and got my Personal Trainer Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. By then, I had lost 50 pounds and gained the confidence in myself that I had been missing for years. Since I started training in 2023, I have helped myself and over 50+ people improve their health and wellness and there is nothing I would rather do.
