Slimming World Haribo Style Sweets
If you’re following Slimming World, I’m sure you’ve seen these tasty little sweets floating around the internet, you may have even tried them yourself or enjoyed them at a taster evening. They’re Slimming World Haribo Style Sweets!
They’re not exactly like real Haribo sweets, because if they were they wouldn’t be just 1.5 syns for the whole batch now would they!? Instead they’re more like extra firm jelly, coupled up with some slightly less firm jelly.
*This post contains affiliate links which means I may make a small commission from any purchase you make after clicking on a product link I have shared. This will happen at no additional cost to you.
Don’t let that put you off though, because they’re delicious and make a fantastic sweet treat to totally get rid of sweet cravings. What’s more, is that whilst the whole batch is 1.5 syns that’ll most likely last you a few days as I certainly couldn’t eat these all at once, and I doubt you will be able to either!
Gelatin Powder VS Gelatin Sheets: What’s The Difference?
This recipe calls for gelatin powder. This is a personal preference however I use it for a reason! I find that using powder disperses more evenly and more easily in your liquid, which gives you a more evenly set batch of Slimming World Haribo Sweets.
You can however use gelatin sheets if you wish, just make sure that you properly dissolve your sheet in the mixture before leaving it to set.
Can You Make Vegetarian Slimming World Haribo Sweets?
I often get asked whether people can make these vegetarian. In their current format, this recipe is not vegetarian as gelatin is not vegetarian. However, you are able to buy vegetarian gelatin!
To make this recipe suitable for vegetarians you must make sure that all of the ingredients you use are certified vegetarian including the jelly and yogurt. To ensure a good result, please make sure you adjust the quantity of gelatin used according to your packet instructions as it may differ from normal gelatin.
Tools You’ll Need
To make these *ALMOST* Syn Free Haribo Style Sweets you don’t need any fancy equipment. I simply made these in a square Tupperware container and sliced with a knife once they were set.
If you would prefer a more pretty or sweet-like appearance you can find lots of individual jelly sweet moulds on Amazon to turn these tasty treats into adorable sweets…after all we do eat with our eyes!
Delicious jelly sweets to curb all of your sweet cravings!

Ingredients
- 1 Sachet Hartleys Sugar Free Jelly (I used the raspberry one)
- 2 Sachets Powdered Gelatine
- 160g Fat Free Yogurt
- 1/2tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Mix your jelly and gelatine with half a pint of boiling water until all of the crystals have dissolved.
- Pour two thirds of your mixture into a Tupperware container and put it in the fridge to begin setting (this took about 15 minutes for me).
- Mix the rest of the jelly mix with the yogurt and vanilla extract.
- When the jelly mix in the fridge has begun to set, pour the yogurt mix on top and put it back in the fridge to set.
- Remove it from the fridge and cut it into squares. Enjoy!
