About the author

This author has held several positions in recent years, including Content Writer, Grant Writer, Obituary Clerk, and Staff Writer, and is under the false impression that these experiences have added to his character since they have not contributed much to his finances. He was awarded a BFA in Creative Writing and Journalism and a BA in Technical Communication by Bowling Green State University because they are giving and eager to make friends. He has a few scattered publications with The Circle magazine, Wild Violet, Toasted Cheese, and Lovable Losers Literary Revue, and resides in the drab, northeastern region of Ohio because it makes everything else seem fascinating, exotic, and beautiful.
He is currently at work on a trilogy involving heroes, dirt, and monsters that cannot be defeated, only escaped.

Looking forward to Volume 2
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2015While this story would definitely shine as a graphic novel, the descriptive writing and mood setting is vivid enough to provide a mental picture show. The story begins at what seems to be a public execution in medieval times--only, here lies the future. Mankind has regressed, but how, and why? Our mysterious hero, Thomas, moves among the debris; clearly he knows something. In the spirit of the Inquisitions, Thomas is captured and faces his confessor, who is both judge and jury. No one is innocent, so our hero's fate is sealed. However, again, all is not as it seems.
The next section tells a fascinating tale of the demise of civilization. Thomas has lived through it all. The saying goes that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. With the modern world's short attention span and limited attention to in-depth thinking, analysis or knowledge, we see the same mistakes being made over and over. Thomas has the gift of memory, and experience. His goal is to provide mankind with knowledge, and an opportunity. The conflict between the Confessor and Thomas is well developed, and the end, which could have become cliche, stampedes ahead with thrills and surprises. Doubtless, this will be an interesting series. If it becomes a graphic novel, as the author hopes, that too would be a treat. Until then, I enjoyed the dangerous and unforgiving despair of a future world, a throwback to the past, with a touch of scifi technology and lots of philosophical insight to modern society.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2022Quick moving with brutal description! Such an original idea! Thought provoking sci-fi that uses memory in a strange new way. Imagine not being able to forget anything? The Confessor (Millennium Man, #1) is a great story, even without illustrations. It would be fun to revisit this as a graphic novel as intended. This is truly fit for screenplay adaptation too.
