Must-have read for twin parents
I absolutely love this book. I am 6 months pregnant with twins and was having a hard time finding material that had a nice mixture of medical and real world. The layout makes for an extremely easy to read, chapters are concise but informative, and there is just enough journaling/checklists to add your own thoughts. I also appreciate their use of “partner” throughout the book and inclusion of LGBT testimonials.

I’d give this book 10 stars if I could. I was sick of click-bait blog posts titled ‘20 things you need to know about having twins,’ where 19 of them were some sort of variation on how my life was basically over- with the 20th tip being a hollow, “But twins are also twice the joy!” No thank you.

I went on the search to find an actual helpful resource on how to prep for twins- and this is it! Encouraging but realistic, it covers everything from conversations to have with your partner to strengthen your relationship before the challenge of twins hits to practical checklists and timelines for preparation. It wastes no time, every sentence is helpful!

This book is a nice, swift review of what you'll need to know to be a twin parent. But I wish it was so much more detailed than it is. You can kind of tell they figured they'd had success as bloggers and would throw together a book. It's not a bad book. It's a pretty helpful book, but more of a big picture manual. I'm more informed for having it, but still hungry for more information.

I bought this book as a gift for a friend expecting twins this spring. I looked through it and think it will be a great resource. It’s easy to read and has great tips and tricks for twin moms and dads. I don’t have twins but have two babies close in age and found some good ideas for me as well!
