How to Show Piping Elevation Symbols in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager’s Output Drawing

To Show Piping Elevation Symbols in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager’s Output Drawing

Background

If user wants to see Elevations marks in output drawing rather than elevations text like BOP, TOP, CL, then user needs to follow below mentioned steps.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager CONNECT Edition and select a project 



  2. Go to Drawing Generation -- > Generate



  3. Select “demo-pipe” VAD file and Press “Generate Drawings”



  4. Output will be generated and Elevation text “BOP” will be shown in output



  5. Go to Drawing Generation -- > Settings



  6. “Settings” dialog will pop up



  7. Select Annotations -- > Tag Numbers -- > Common



  8. Select “Elevation marks” from Elevation Mark drop down





  9. Save the changes



  10. Go to Drawing Generation -- > Generate



  11. Select “demo-pipe” VAD file and Press “Generate Drawings”



  12. Output will be generated and Elevation mark selected against respective Elevation type will be shown. In this case Elevation Mark for BOP will be shown as below,
