Further Words Of Judgment

⁹ "I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt; I will make you live in tents again as in the days of old. ¹⁰ I spoke to the prophets; I myself revealed many visions; I spoke in parables through the prophets." ¹¹ Is there idolatry in Gilead? Certainly its inhabitants will come to nothing! Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal? Surely their altars will be like stones heaped up on a plowed field!

2 Kings 17:13

The Lord solemnly warned Israel and Judah through all his prophets and all the seers, "Turn back from your evil ways; obey my commandments and rules that are recorded in the law. I ordered your ancestors to keep this law and sent my servants the prophets to remind you of its demands."

Ezekiel 20:49

Then I said, "O sovereign Lord! They are saying of me, 'Does he not simply speak in eloquent figures of speech?'"

Joel 2:28

After all of this I will pour out my Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your elderly will have revelatory dreams; your young men will see prophetic visions.
