The Transfiguration

⁴ Then Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it’s good for us to be here! If You want, I will make three tabernacles here: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” ⁵ While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said:

This is My beloved Son.
I take delight in Him.
Listen to Him! ⁶ When the disciples heard it, they fell facedown and were terrified.

Matthew 3:17

And there came a voice from heaven:

This is My beloved Son.
I take delight in Him!

Isaiah 42:1

“This is My Servant; I strengthen Him,
this is My Chosen One; I delight in Him.
I have put My Spirit on Him;
He will bring justice to the nations.

“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.
