3 the older women, too, to be reverent in their deportment, and not to be slanderers or slaves to heavy drinking, but to be teachers of what is right, 4 so as to train the younger women to be affectionate wives and mothers, 5 to be serious, pure, home keepers, kind, and subordinate to their husbands, so as not to cause God's message to suffer reproach.
