Romans 16:17-20 - Concluding Exhortations
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who make divisions and cause offenses in opposition to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them. 18 For such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own appetites; and, by good words and fair speeches, they deceive the hearts of the simple.
19 For your obedience has gone abroad to all men: I rejoice, therefore, on your account. But I desire you to be wise in respect to that which is good, and guileless in respect to that which is evil. 20 The God of peace will soon bruise Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you
13 Be watchful, stand fast in the faith, be men, be resolute. 14 Let every thing be done by you in love.
15 I beseech you, brethren, (you know the house of Stephanas, that they are the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) 16 that you submit yourselves to such, and to every one that works and labors with us. 17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus; for they have supplied what was wanting on your part: 18 for they have refreshed my spirit, and yours. There fore, acknowledge such.
