Romans 16:17-20 - Concluding Exhortations

¹⁷ Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who make divisions and cause offenses in opposition to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them. ¹⁸ For such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own appetites; and, by good words and fair speeches, they deceive the hearts of the simple.

¹⁹ For your obedience has gone abroad to all men: I rejoice, therefore, on your account. But I desire you to be wise in respect to that which is good, and guileless in respect to that which is evil. ²⁰ The God of peace will soon bruise Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you

¹³ Be watchful, stand fast in the faith, be men, be resolute. ¹⁴ Let every thing be done by you in love.

¹⁵ I beseech you, brethren, (you know the house of Stephanas, that they are the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) ¹⁶ that you submit yourselves to such, and to every one that works and labors with us. ¹⁷ I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus; for they have supplied what was wanting on your part: ¹⁸ for they have refreshed my spirit, and yours. There fore, acknowledge such.
