However, God was not pleased with the vast majority of them, for their bodies were scattered over the desert [See Num. 14:29ff].
I am speaking as to wise and sensible people; judge [carefully and thoughtfully consider] for yourselves what I say.

[Hos. 13:14 says], "Death, where is your victory [over people]? Death, where is your [harmful] sting?"
But I thank God for giving us victory [i.e., over sin and death] through our Lord Jesus Christ.
So, my dear brothers, continue to be firm, incapable of being moved, always letting the cup run over in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the service of the Lord is never thrown away.
I will come unto you after I have gone over Macedonia. For I will go throughout Macedonia.

I wish that those who are causing such a problem over wanting people to be circumcised would just mutilate themselves [while they are at it!].
Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law.
Brethren, if anybody be detected in any misconduct, you who are spiritual should restore such a one in a spirit of meekness. And let each of you keep watch over himself, lest he also fall into temptation.
Why, even the circumcision party do not observe the Law themselves! They merely want you to get circumcised, so as to boast over your flesh!
out of the over-flowing treasures of his comprehensive wisdom and contrivance.
and the surpassing greatness of his power over us believers ??a power which operates with the strength of the might
