But if the unbeliever go away, let them go away; a brother or a sister is not bound in such cases, but God has called us in peace.

so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate. They say to him, Why then did Moses command to give a letter of divorce and to send her away? He says to them, Moses, in view of your hardheartedness, allowed you to put away your wives; but from the beginning it was not thus. But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, not for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery; and he who marries one put away commits adultery.

But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except for cause of fornication, makes her commit adultery, and whosoever marries one that is put away commits adultery.

Remember prisoners, as bound with them; those that are evil-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.

Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord,

Blessings are upon the head of a righteous man; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.

The mouth of a righteous man is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.

So that, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for man's wrath does not work God's righteousness.

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him: but when he cried unto him, he heard.

I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted one, the right of the needy.

Jehovah executeth righteousness and justice for all that are oppressed.

learn to do well: seek judgment, gladden the oppressed, do justice to the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Let no corrupt word go out of your mouth, but if there be any good one for needful edification, that it may give grace to those that hear it.

If any one think himself to be religious, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, this man's religion is vain.

Out of the same mouth goes forth blessing and cursing. It is not right, my brethren, that these things should be thus.

Let all bitterness, and heat of passion, and wrath, and clamour, and injurious language, be removed from you, with all malice;
