But as many as did receive him, on them he bestowed authority to become children of God, even on those who believe on his name:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I shall send, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
And whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.
Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me merely, but him that sent me.

For there are eunuchs, who were so from their mothers' womb; and there are eunuchs, who have been made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. He that is capable of receiving, let him receive it.
He that receiveth his testimony hath avouched that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God hath not given the Spirit by measure unto him.
He came unto his peculiar people, and his peculiar people did not receive him.
Verily, verity, I tell thee, That what we know we speak, and what we have seen we affirm; and ye receive not our testimony.
I have come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, who receiving honour one from another, seek not the honour which cometh from God alone?
Many therefore of his disciples, who heard him, said, Difficult is this discourse, who is able to fathom it?
