Having therefore, brethren, confidence to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

But Jesus said: Let the little children come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus, of Bethany, the village of Mary and Martha her sister. It was the Mary that anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. Therefore his sisters sent to him, saying: Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

Let us come, therefore, with boldness, to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace to help in every time of need.

Come to me, all you that are weary, and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

And they came to Jericho: and as he was going out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timseus, was sitting on the roadside, begging. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they called the blind man, and said to him: Take courage; arise, he calls you. And throwing away his mantle, he arose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said to him: What do you wish me to do for you? The blind man said to him: Rabboni, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said to him: Go, your faith has saved you. And he immediately received his sight, and followed Jesus on the road.

Wherefore, the first covenant was not instituted without blood.

A bruised reed he shall not break, and a smoking wick he shall not extinguish, till he shall send forth his law for conquest.
