And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and kneeling down, prayed,
And kneeling down he cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And having said this he fell asleep.
that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of beings in heaven and in the earth and under the earth,
And going forward a little, he fell on his face, and prayed and said, My Father, if it is possible let this cup pass from me; but not as I will, but as thou wilt.
And when you stand praying, forgive if you have any thing against any, that your Father in heaven may also forgive your offenses.
The Pharisee, standing by himself, offered this prayer; God, I thank thee that I am not as other men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican;
Take therefore the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand, therefore, girded about your loins with truth, and having put on the cuirass of righteousness,
Therefore, brothers, stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by word or by our epistle;
Do you also have long patience, confirm your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Therefore also we, having so great a cloud of witnesses lying around us, laying aside every impediment and sin which entirely surrounds us, let us run with patience the race set before us,
