And when Cephas came into Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to blame.

but Elymas the magician (for thus his name is interpreted) opposed them, seeking to turn away the proconsul from the faith.
And the high priest Ananias commanded those standing near him to smite him in the mouth.
And they opposing, and blaspheming, shaking his garments, he said to them, Your blood be upon your own head; I am pure: from now I will go to the Gentiles.

Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother may sin, rebuke him; if he may repent, forgive him.
But if thy brother may sin, go, and convict him between thee and him alone: if he may hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother:
Brethren, if indeed a man may be overtaken in some transgression, you who are spiritual, perfect such an one in the spirit of meekness; watching yourself, lest you may also be tempted.
My brethren, if any one among you may err from the truth, and one may turn him back; let him know, that the one having turned a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and hide a multitude of sins.
And He having come out from thence, the scribes and Pharisees began vehemently to press on Him, and mouth after Him concerning many things; laying in wait, to catch something from His mouth.
And the Pharisees and Sadducees having come to Him, tempting Him, asked Him to show them a sign from heaven.
Then the Pharisees going forth, took counsel how they might ensnare Him in His speech.
And the scribes and Pharisees, seeing Him eating with the publicans and sinners, were saying to His disciples, Why does He eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, Wherefore do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders: but they eat bread with unwashed hands?
And certain ones of the Pharisees said to them, Why are you doing that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?
And certain ones of the Pharisees from the multitude said to Him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples:
Then the Pharisees said to Him, Thou art testifying concerning thyself; Thy testimony is not true. And Jesus responded and said to them,
and falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.
Since then God gave unto them the equal gift, as also unto us, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ; who was I, to be able to resist God?
