Then Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and they regained their sight at once and followed him.
Then Jesus said, "Go, your faith has made you well;" and he regained his sight at once and followed Jesus along the road.
Instantly he regained his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people gave praise to God when they saw this.
As Jesus passed along from there, he was followed by two blind men who shrieked, "Son of David, have pity on us!"

Next day Jesus determined to leave for Galilee; there he met Philip and told him, "Follow me." Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go and sell your property, give the money to the poor and you shall have treasure in heaven; then come and follow me."
Jesus looked at him and loved him. "There is one thing you want," he said; "go and sell all you have; give the money to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, take up the cross, and follow me."

He who loves his life loses it, and he who cares not for his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life.
A scribe came up and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you anywhere"; Jesus said to him, "The foxes have their holes, the wild birds have their nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head."

Where is the credit in standing punishment for having done wrong? No, if you stand suffering for having done right, that is what God counts a merit. Everyone who has left brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands or houses for my name's sake will get a hundred times as much and inherit life eternal.read more.

Peter said, "Well, we have left our homes and followed you!" He said to them, "I tell you truly, no one has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the Realm of God, who does not receive ever so much more in this present world, and in the world to come life eternal."
Then Jesus again addressed them, saying, "I am the light of the world: he who follows me will not walk in darkness, he will enjoy the light of life."
If anyone serves me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall my servant be also: if anyone serves me, my Father will honour him.
"Lord," said Simon Peter, "where are you going?" Jesus replied, "I am going where you cannot follow me at present; later on you will follow me."
