The LORD continuously does what is right, executing justice for all who are being oppressed.

who brings justice for the oppressed, and who gives food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners;

Send forth your gracious love to those who know you, and your righteousness to those who are upright in heart.

Won't God grant his chosen people justice when they cry out to him day and night? Is he slow to help them?

When I call, answer me, my righteous God! When I was in distress, you set me free. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.

Certainly it is right for God to pay back those who afflict you with affliction,

For the sake of your name, LORD, preserve my life. Because you are righteous, bring me out of trouble.
