And woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!
Will I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth, says Jehovah? Surely I will cause birth and restrain, says your God.
His flesh shall be fresher than in vigor; he shall return to the days of his youth;
But woe to those who are with child, and to those suckling in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath on this people.
As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, as how the bones grow in the pregnant woman's womb; even so you do not know the works of God who makes all.
Ask now, and see whether a man is giving birth? Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, like a woman in labor, and all faces are turned into paleness?
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was this way (for His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph) before they came together, she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.

But if she bears a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her menstruation. And she shall continue in the blood of her purifying sixty-six days.
And Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife. And when he went in to her, Jehovah made her conceive. And she bore a son.
Now Sarai, Abram's wife, did not bear. And she had a female slave, an Egyptian, and her name was Hagar.

And we boiled my son and ate him. And I said to her on the other day, Give your son so that we may eat him. And she has hidden her son.
And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one and half to the other.
Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
