For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews,
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.
Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.
