And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for our money faileth.

And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do.

And they tempted God in their heart By asking food according to their desire.

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage . For I am faint. Therefore was his name called Edom.

And make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat. That my soul may bless thee before I die.

Bring me venison, and make me savory food, that I may eat, and bless thee before Jehovah before my death.

And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, so that he may bless thee before his death.

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here anything to eat?
