And if he comes to see me, he speaks vanity: his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes abroad, he tells it.

A talebearer reveals secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter.

He that goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets: therefore associate not with him who flatters with his lips.

They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are bronze and iron; they are all corrupters.

So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them unto you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel.

And the fame of this went abroad into all that land.

But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak in light: and what you hear in the ear, that preach upon the housetops.

But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out secretly? nay verily; but let them come themselves and bring us out.
