'Receded' in the Bible
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over the earth and the waters receded.
The water steadily receded from the earth, and by the end of 150 days the waters had decreased significantly.
The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
Later, he sent a dove out from the ark to see whether the water that covered the land's surface had completely receded,
When the dove returned to him in the evening, there was a freshly plucked olive leaf in its beak! Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.
