1812-2012: Commemorating the Bicentenary of the Spanish Constitution of Cadiz Colloquium

The bicentenary of the Spanish Constitution of Cadiz (1812) will be commemorated by a Colloquium organised by the Sub-Faculty of Spanish at the Taylor Institution, St Giles’, Oxford, at 4-6pm on Friday 9 March. Professor Edwin Williamson will introduce the speakers, Dr Frances Lannon, Mr Martin Murphy, and Professor Sir John Elliott.

His Excellency the Spanish Ambassador will formally open an Exhibition on the 1812 Constitution after the Colloquium with his “Reflections on the Constitution of Cadiz”. Admission is free.
