1987 Haro Group 1 RS3

Having unsuccessfully searched for an old school, daily rider for a few years, I finally pulled the trigger on this '87 Group 1 RS3 in Nov 2011. Not the highest-spec Haro, but I love the combination of classic Haro colours with the lines and geometry of a racing rather than freestyle frame - sorry twin top tube guys! I sourced the bike from the States (thanks Garrick aka Old-Skull) and had it shipped over to Japan, where these are impossible to find for reasonable money, if at all. The paintwork and stickers are original and some of the parts (chainwheel, pedals, stem, grips, seatpost clamp and tyres) have been replaced, but I like the overall look and it rides well. I may try to source some of the missing, original parts and would also like a padset and numberplate, but for the moment I'm just enjoying putting some miles on it!!
