A total of 189 male students have successfully obtained admission to Year 5 at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School in Kampong Rimba this year.
In an effort to review the registration and admission session of new Arabic schools students in Year 5, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim made a working visit to the school.
In addition to taking a closer look, the visit also aimed to ensure the provision of infrastructure and facilities at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School for the well-being of the teaching staff and students, who indirectly helps towards achieving high quality education.
During the visit, the Permanent Secretary toured the classes and spoke to the young students.
The visit also featured a muzakarah session with the school administrators including welcoming remarks from the school’s Principal Haji Norhisyam bin Haji Mohd Noor as well as remarks and advice from the Permanent Secretary.
The delegation also comprised officials from the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. – Fadhil Yunus
