What’s new in Brave?
A quick look at the latest features we’re most excited about.
Brave Search
Get answers on-demand with “Answer with AI”
Brave Search’s new AI-powered answers can address almost any question. They’re lightning-fast, incredibly accurate, and appear right in the search results page.
The answer engine supports searches in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Ready to try Brave Search and “Answer with AI”? It’s easy:
- Visit search.brave.com in any browser.
- Start typing in the search box (if Brave Search is already your default search engine, you can skip this step and just type in your browser’s address bar).
- Click or tap the Answer with AI button that appears beside the search bar.
Brave Leo
Try Brave Leo on iOS
Leo—Brave’s smart, private AI assistant built right into the browser—is now available on all iOS devices. Leo is a smart browsing assistant made to answer questions, summarize pages, and more. To get started with Leo:
- Open Brave on iOS.
- Begin typing in the address bar.
- Click Ask Leo.
Brave Talk with Leo
Leo is now integrated with Brave Talk video conferencing
Brave Talk Premium users can now find Leo within Brave Talk on both desktop and Android.
Together, Leo can take Brave Talk transcriptions and summarize them, create clean meeting notes and task lists, answer follow up questions, and more. Call participants can fully participate in meetings and stay focused on discussions, while Leo handles the logistics.
To get started, Brave Talk Premium users can:
- Open a new tab in Brave and click the icon (or visit talk.brave.com).
- Once a Premium call is started, the meeting creator (the person with the Premium subscription) can visit Settings and turn on Record transcription.
- Those attending a Premium call from the Brave browser can click in the Brave Sidebar to ask Leo to summarize key points both during and after the meeting.
Don’t see the sidebar? Visit Settings » Appearance, and toggle on Show Sidebar button. Afterwards, click the icon that appears in the address bar to use Leo in the Sidebar.
Brave browser with Leo
Use Brave Leo to chat with your PDFs and Google Drive files on desktop and iOS
Brave desktop and iOS users can also use Leo to interact with PDFs and Google Drive files—like Docs and Sheets—to summarize content, ask questions about that content, and more.
Ready to try Leo with your docs and PDFs?
- Open a PDF, Google doc, or Google sheet in a tab in the Brave browser.
- Click the Show Sidebar icon in the address bar.
- Click Ask Leo in the sidebar to open Leo.
- Ask Leo questions about your file.
Don’t have Leo in the sidebar yet? Just click Settings, then click Leo, and toggle on the Show Leo icon in the sidebar option.
If you don’t see PDF / Drive support in Leo on desktop or iOS, update to the latest version of Brave on those platforms to get started.
