This 1926 Packard Six is a Model 326 sedan that is finished in blue with a black roof and fenders over blue cloth upholstery, and it is powered by a 289ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes four-wheel mechanical drum brakes, body-color disc wheels, a rear-mounted spare, a Boyce MotoMeter radiator cap, a woodgrain dash panel, and a rear passenger footrest. The car was purchased by the current owner in October 2019, and service performed under their ownership included the installation of a replacement battery and tire inner tubes. This Third Series Packard is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve in Monterey, California, with a Montana title.
The body is finished in blue with a black roof and fenders and features bright bumpers, a Boyce MotoMeter radiator cap, a steel sun visor, a tilt-forward windshield, running boards, and a single taillight.
Body-color steel disc wheels wear Packard center caps. They are mounted with older Lester whitewall bias-ply tires that were fitted with replacement inner tubes under current ownership, and a matching spare wheel is stowed out back. The 326 rode on a 126″ wheelbase and featured front and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by mechanical drums at all four corners.
The cabin features front and rear benches trimmed in blue cloth along with color-coordinated door panels and pockets. Equipment includes woodgrain dash and window trim, a rear robe bar, and a carpeted rear-passenger footrest.
The four-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a dash panel housing an 80-mph barrel-type speedometer, an Elgin eight-day clock, an ammeter, a fuel-level gauge and an oil pressure gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 289ci L-head inline-six features seven main bearings and was factory rated at 60 horsepower. A replacement battery was installed under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission.
